Technical Service Level Guarantee
Connecting Member’s Service Level Guarantee ("Guarantee") is that the Connecting Members Service will be available 99.5% of the time. Connecting Members Services are the combination of Connecting Members-operated equipment, servers, circuits, and other data transmission facilities comprising Connecting Member's TCP/IP wide-area network.
The Connecting Members service is protected by multiple layers of physical, network and logical security. We have state-of-the-art, layer 7 firewalls in place, allowing only necessary traffic into our system. Our servers are further protected by virus checking equipment to ensure that no malicious or damaging code can be executed - servers are completely scanned daily. Data integrity and redundancy is provided through disk to disk backups. The environment is backed up daily to a SAN located on another VLAN separate from the production web environment. The Internet source is a multi-homed connection providing failover redundancy through multiple carriers.
Data Center Infrastructure
- Full carrier class fiber connections over multiple tier-1 providers exceeding 200 Mbps
- Fully-redundant environment controls with three 20-ton Liebert air conditioners and two 10-ton Challenger 3000 air handlers
- Fault-tolerant power subsystems, including two backup diesel generators totaling 880 KvA and APC uninterruptible power supplies
- Secure card access to the facility - The datacenter has protected access to the building via security card access scanners.
- Fire sensors throughout the facility
- 24x7 monitored surveillance cameras at the entrance and inside the facility
